Uraquay Fishing... anyone experienced in the area

I getting a good feel for all the fly fishing spots in South America, except for 2 countries, namely Uruguay and Paraguay, which seem to be, water water everywhere, but not a fishing spot in sight.

Now I wondering if that's simply because its not commercialized.
IE there are fish everywhere, or the flat flood planes just dont make for good fishing.

In these two countries, I cant get a feel for the nice fishing spots... if any.

I will try them anyway, but it would be much nicer if I got a feel for whether I should try the middle, the east, the west, etc.

I imagine its some kind of bass fishing, or perhaps catfish or something like that, but perhaps there are some trout... ?????
