Puerto Vallarta Mexico fishing report

Puerto Vallarta fishing report! The banks have heated up with small yellow fin tuna this last wekk averaging 20-60 lbs lbs but after catching 20 of these little footballs you will be tired thats for sure. North of punta de mita has been good for mahi mahi, mackeral, sea bass and sailfish, we have also been catching sails, striped marlin a little west of the bank. so you can go for a short day or a long day all the way out and your bringing home dinner and a trophy game fish! for those of you that have never fished in puerto vallarta here is a little more info about our fishing grounds. when you go out for a
4 hour day you are fishing in banderas bay targeting mahi mahi, jack crevalle, pompano, red snapper, and needle fish 6-hours hour day fishing off the point of punta de mita targeting sailfish, mahi mahi yellow fin tuna, needle fish red snapper, Roosterfish. 8 hour day you hit el morro a reef 22 miles out targeting sailfish, dorado, yellow fin tuna, and roosterfish, 10 hours hour day you get 36 miles out to corbetena and target 300-800 lb marlins, 100-250 lb yellow fin tuna, 5ft dorado's wahoo, and sailfish. 12 hour day your off to the bank a huge rock located 50 miles out of marina vallarta where you will be targeting 400-1,000 lb marlin, 200-350lb yellow fin tuna, sailfish, dorado and Wahoo! Puerto Vallarta has it all you can go out for a short day with the family and catch lots of action! Or go for a 12 hour excursion out past the bank for record breaking Puerto Vallarta game fish! It's just depends on what type of angler you are! Me myself I like catching fish that I eat yellow fin tuna, mahi mahi, red snapper, and wahoo, dont get me wrong I still love pulling in Billfish but if possible always tag and release.
