Manta rays are plankton eaters like basking sharks so its not one of them.
Not a clue waht it is but i bet its wings would be nice with black butter

They could both be stingrays as there are over 70 types of stingrays throughout the world!

I did some research and I believe the second picture is a Butterfly ray. They have no stingers (barbs) and very short tails. Great sport... All fish were caught from the sand.
