We are going to fish in water in the depth of between 300-400 feet with a weight of 2lb to take the bait down.

Well we got there after the snow we fished for pollock first one guy on the boat caught a 11lb7oz one nice fish spurdog caught with dogfish and one skate just a small one of about 60lb the skipper said . We are going back up on the 29 to fish for skate all day so here's hoping the we catch some skate.
Iwould post a pic of the skate and pollock but dont know what to do.

Ben, there's lots of "skate" in our area, not the big common ones you've seen in the pics, but thornbacks, spotted, blonde, best you're going to see is a blonde in the 20lb-
28lb range.
