| clearing clutter! hi guys ive had enough of fishing stuff everywhere i move in this house! so its all got to go to give me some of the house back just a couple things i will throw on here for now.. i have an old original abu beach power beach caster.... with 2 tip sections (i had a friend who also had a beach power and he snapped the butt section in the car door! so gave me the tip!) anyway 13ft beach caster + reducer all it needs is a new bottom eye i also have an abu 6500 ''hi speed'' its hardly been used but me with my messyness probably havent looked after it as i should have ... however with a bit of tlc it will make someone a very happy owner :) i also have a greys orion mk1....again not in amazing condition its been used! ive had it several years.. and last but not least for now... a conoflex mysteron.. its 13ft and i believe its based on a conoflex source?.. it was specially built and sold by torbay angling a few years ago and this is about all the info i can find on it i also read somewhere else today that it was designed for 5oz leads and chesil beach.......however.. i used 5oz leads on it but im not big caster and i dunno how it would stand one of you professionals whacking a lead with it :) im being as honest as i can be by saying none of it is in perfect condition...average/good condition would be what i would class it i suppose.. if anyone is interested in any of it pm me an offer  also as another note.. i have 2 or 3 old carp rods that need a new tip eye or something replacing on them.... if anyone has a kid who wants something as a starter rod to be bashed and scratched?....they aint in great condition and i could never ask for any money for them but your more than welcome to come and take them away!! __________________ fishing for fish is not as simple as you may think! | Re: clearing clutter! well it was a case of offer it here or ebay it :S other than the hi speed ive seen nothing on ebay that i have... so couldnt even think of what its worth... the money will go towards a bait boat for the bluewater trip in sept which in turn will take up more room than the rods and i will be back to square one lol i counted earlier... i have 14 carp rods .. 3 barbel rods (which i now use locally for my carp fishing 1.5lb tc ) and 8 match rods.....i mean really what am i going to do with it all! __________________ fishing for fish is not as simple as you may think! |
