Slipper Limpet tutorial - part 2 - Use

Having collected all the FREE bait - how to catch those fish then !

This is my method, I have no doubt there will be variations to a theme - but this works for me so I will describe how I use Slipper.

Take your hook (Size 1/0 short shank in the pics)
hook 4 or 5 large Slipper through the middle of the fleshy foot - not the guts !

Take some bait elastic and bind the Slipper on remembering to bind up the fleshy guts to hold in place.

Keep binding until you make a nice juicy looking bait - remembering as in all baits to leave the hook point fully exposed.

One tasty looking bait no discerning Bass could possibly ignore !

The same bunched Slipper on a 1/0 circle hook, bit more fiddly but as always - leave that hook point exposed !

Then chuck in the ocean & catch those BIG Bass !

Very easy, as long as you run the knife around the edge of the foot to break the seal - should just slip out, sometimes the 'guts are stuck but a gentle tug will free it okay ....
