Getting bait to run away from your boat

How To Make Your Bait Run Away From The Boat Many times a fish will want hot bait. To get the bait to run away from the boat instead of towards it as lively bait often do , hook the bait near the anal fin which tends to make the bait run deeper. Also be sure to keep a slight tension on the line with your finger this will make the bait want to swim away from the pressure. Remember that deep sea fish are used to chasing lively bait and will at times ignore bait that is not swimming normal. When choosing a bait take the time to pick one that is healthy and swimming strongly, has all its scales and no bloody spots on the nose or body. tightlines MA11
