can some 1 let me know cocktail of bait is best for sea fishing

depends where n when you are fishing and what you are trying to catch
rag/squid is usualy a good bet here, but lug/muscle can be good up north
all about knowing your local area, just experiment till you find 1 which works well

can i just use muscle from the local super market

on the shingle beaches around deal/ dover area then lug and squid are good, lug and mackeral for whiting, lug/ rag/ maddies are good for flatties. in summer crab and rags pretty good.

every venues/ species is different, take a variety of baits and give everything a go until you find one that works. the main rules are to match the size of the hook to the size of the bait and don't let the bait mask the point/ barb of the hook.
