Quick Tip...

If your two piece rod becomes stuck at the spiggot/ferrul - this is usually because of a vacuum effect - simply REMOVE THE BUTT CAP!! - as rods are usually hollow all the way through, this simply lets air escape via the butt cap - now put those rubber gloves away guy's and just ease them sections apart !!!

Lightbulb Re: Quick Tip...

Or try this...Put the rod behind your knees, firmly grasp the rod on either side of the stuck ferrule and use your legs to pull it apart.
