Mussels......"keeping them on your hook"

I have been useing mussels for some years now, and a good tip for keeping them on your hook when casting out is to use "Artic Spray".
It`s the freez spray that plumbers use.
After you have tied it on with your elastic cotton , give it a quick spray, (freez solid) and cast out , it will start to thore out when it hits the water................ can be used on a number of other sea baits also.

Re: Mussels......"keeping them on your hook"

use a baiting needle and bait elastic
buch aload of them on the needel and make it into the right shape with lots of elastic, do this howmany ever times as you want, so you have lots of baits ready
then simply slide it unto the hook with abit more elastic
if you are still having tropubles try using squid as well
