It's just the usual jibe at the Scot's/Yorkshiremen being tight, dont know about the Yorkshiremen but it's a myth with the Scot's.
I,v lived in Cornwall around 16yrs and heard them all thousand's of times over and then it becomes offensive and rude (rant over).
The lights do look pretty bright Joe but a tad bulky on the rod tip. Might get some of those and try it out.

Ok mate, yeah them lights look really bright but I wonder because they are that bright how long the batteries would last? I had some super lights of flea bay once, they were almost blindingly bright but after 2 hours they had died

He says one of them was on for a week constant but it was very dim, just how long before it's goes to dim i,m not sure.
If it,s 4 for a quid it wouldnt matter if it only lasted a night.
