| Lure Productivity starting to get a bit peed off as of late.I took up lure fishing last year but as of yet i have only caught one fish and had couple of knocks.Any suggestions as to what i might be doing wrong.I love the physical involvement you get with spinning, and i realise that its not going to be as productive as using bait because of the lack of scent. But is there something else i should be trying ?The only thing i can think of is that im not covering enough ground.I do tend to get sucked into one particular spot for too long. |

| Re: Lure Productivity Hi Nad, The fish have to be there to catch them, covering ground is probably the best way. Try different rates of retrieve, jerk the lure a bit! First light or dusk are probably the best time! The plastic is trying to imitate a fish! whether it be swimming, injured, or chasing smaller fish. It is very hit an miss... I'm no expert, but it is great when you get one this way! best of luck Steve |
