Lost Lure I lost my favourite Rapala lure yesterday.Tried the walking slowly backwards method but to no avail. To be honest this always seems to end up as a lureless piece of line emerging from the water. Does anyone have any other ideas ??? Gutted to lose that lure...especially at £13 pound a pop(per)!!! Also, the lure concerned was the x-rap saltwater green mackeral.Cant find it anywhere on line anymore, only the blue mackeral.Originally had it from Veals mailorder, but they dont do it anymore.Does anyone know of anywhere that still stocks it ???

Re: Lost Lure Hi Nad, If I get snagged, I let a bit of line out quickly and let them float out. Don't always work especially in weed/kelp. Thats the risk you take when you fish shallow gullies etc... Tackle losses are higher, (hopefully) the rewards are greater! Steve

Re: Lost Lure Cheers Stevey. Was actually fishing the estuary but it is very kelpy and ,foolishly,it was low tide .Have used that lure loads at high tide but thought it would stay high enough in the water column to get away with it....not the first time ive been wrong and wont be the last !!!

Re: Lost Lure Just out of interest, what does everyone consider the best knot to be for spinning and plugging ?.I use a snap link attatched to a swivel so the knot would connect the swivel to the main line
