Cool Discount fishing accessories !

money saving items

Im sure our first port of call when looking for fishing accessories ,be it clothing or small items like bait boxes is either the tackle shop or mail order tackle centres online..

I know over the years i have saved an absolute fortune on gear simply by using a bit of cunning and being able to adapt.

I hope by listing a few of these not only will i be able to help novices to seasoned pro alike save a bit of cash but also give you the chance to share your own money saving tips with others...

BAIT CUTTING BOARD Perfect size, very light and easily cleaned - TESCO Value range - 97p

COLEMAN TWIN MANTLE LAMP Having trolled all the normal outlets in Sea Angler mag the cheapest i could find was around the 55 quid mark..- ARGOS ! ( sold as a camping accessory ) - I got mine for around the 34 quid mark if i remember !

WELLIES This one took me ages as i was looking in all the sensible places like shoe shops/country suppliers (as you would ) - Karrimor British made high quality boots with an rrp of about 60 pounds - SPORTS DIRECT - 14.99 !...Now that was as much luck/fluke as judgement

LED HEADTORCH More localised to me but still available - 2 LED Headtorches plus 2 LED Torches PLUS 10 batteries to power them - IN-EXCESS - 6.75 !! (5 or so branches in the South)

I know you will all have an ace somewhere there so please come along and share them with other like minded folk and im sure we can pick up some absolute bargains in 2010 !!
Regards,
Steve

p.s I guess my thread on cheap tackle boxes would fit nicely in here aswell

Re: Discount fishing accessories !

I got about a dozen of the wee bru bottles for the train journey back from Scotland in the summer. Nah none of that real ale stuff, Tennants, Mcewans will do fine, although copious amounts of bacardi n coke go down well too
