Tips on saving money on tackle

If you fish in close ie no more than 50-60 yards and you have bought a rod for multiplier and you think i have to sell rod and buy another 2-300 hundred pound rod and rush out and buy a fixspool rod because you find it hard useing a multiplier reel, DONT. I fish multiplier for 99pcent of my fishing but all my bass this season 8 in total i just stuck on a fixspool reel on to the same rod rung for multiplier. Short range only very important. Not a lot of anglers know that. Tackle shops wont tell you that one, no offence. Tight lines and yours always in sport. Paul.
