| Fishing in Majorca Just got back from The small resort of Callas de Majorca and had some great sport bream fishing. There was no fish monger so fresh bait was'nt an option so I bought some pancetta for hook bait and a tin of pilchards and a loaf of bread for ground bait. Used a size 14 hook on 4lb line about 4ft under a loafer float wich are great as they can be slid up or down the line to adjust the length in an instant. court four different species of bream includeing saddled bream and a larger striped species I could,nt name. Most were about the size off your hand with some I would guestimate at 2.5lb. Love fishing on holiday as you can snorkle the marks before you go fishing wich is nearly as much fun as fishing. Any one wants more info just me know.     |
