Re: Hook size Guide

Hi,

In a straight answer - yes. Your tackle shop should have them, if not then one of the mail order shops will supply you, and yes they come in various sizes.

Cheers

Drew

Re: Hook size Guide

Further to the really good information so far I would like to add that there is no specific hard and fast rule for manufacturers about hook sizes. They are all about the same but it tend to be more about size in relation to their own product ranges as opposed to other manufactuers. The gape and pattern of a hook also has an impact on the type of bait used and the species that can be caught. Many of the good manufactuers now add information to their packaging with regard to selecting the right hooks.
Hope I am not teaching anyone to suck eggs, just trying to help:icon_win

Re: Hook size Guide

This might help also, but you'll need to print it out.
