| Sea Fishing Feeder I mentioned some time ago that I tried a home made feeder at Blue Anchor. My theory is that it must help to create a scent trail in the heavily coloured water of the Bristol Channel. At the time I didn't have a clue about how to post pictures and this is still only my second attempt. For anyone interested this is what the home made feeder looks like. A swivel and bead at the leader end, a drilled 35mm film cannister with lid mounted in line on a short length of 60lb mono, another bead and then a lead clip. They say a picture paints a thousand words so yer tis!  I fish it between the end of the rig and the weight. I gave the last one away after frightening myself with the Conger I caught.(allright I know I'm a wimp but the damn things bite!) I can't resist having another go though.  Re: Sea Fishing Feeder Good Idea Richard. That looks a bit more durable than the freshwater feeders. I did wonder about using a lump of frozen minced fish & fish oil to leave a scent trail. Good luck with your trip. |

| Re: Sea Fishing Feeder i saw an article on this in sea angler in the winter when he used it filled with mackerel in the mersey estuary for whiting and he got loads and loads and even some flatties in one short session, after that i was determined to use them but i just kept on forgetting lol  __________________ "Alright Jack, we all ready to fish?"
