Braid for hooklengths?

The fish may be back in but so are the spider crabs

I usually stick with Supersnood and Amnesia for my hooklengths but someone suggested I try braid because the spiders find it difficult to snip off.

Any views?

Yep I have used them down on chesil.


Mind you it would not have helped last weekend....186 anglers fished..................22 weighed in!!


But a couple of my club members who fished it caught some mackeral.

they can still snip off braid, i use a pully rig which has a 60lb snood, they dont snip that, and a tangle with braid is a nightmare, hopes this helps Boo.
