| How to tie a grinner with NO wrinkling? I suspect this has more to do with my rig body material than the knot - greased weasel and Sakuma rig body mono both disform and wrinkle where the knot body is tightened down. I've tried both the common grinners that we tie - 5 turns around the line then form the loop and do another 5 turns and then the simple way of form the loop straight away then 5 turns. Both results in the mis shapen line? 18lbs Amnesia ties beautifully as does all low BS lines I've tied the grinner on over the years |

| Re: How to tie a grinner with NO wrinkling? I use sakuma rig body and shockleader , and it does tend to wrinkle as you pull the knot tight, moisten it well and pull the knot together slowly does seem to minimise it , never had the line fail tho despitite the wrinkling ,just ,looks a bit un nerving .... Use Daiwas sensor for lighter hook lenghth`s , that ties nicely with no wrinkling .. __________________ Mike..
