Mixing feathers and eddy eel
Is it a silly idea to have 1 or 2 eddystone eels, aswell as feathers on one line?

Not at all.

Variety is the spice of life. Though to be honest the lures are normally fished in a different manner, with Eddystones being fished on a long flowing trace to give them a better action.
