Although I do admire your enthusiasm.
Rather than destroy the EXPENSIVE hooks why not use cheap paper clips.
Better still why not just use the proper stuff, they dont cost that much.
That 8ft trace with the 4 hooks must have looked like a leathal weapon, I bet it flew like a dead duck!! lol.

it flew well, but, the clipping down n up n round parts didnt unclip on impact
so it just came bk looking more tangled than before
