Glue to re-attach last ringlet?

The last ring on my boat rod has popped out the end. It is still securely held around the rod about an inch from the end, but I need to re-flue in the end which goes into the actual end of the rod. Looks like a metal to metal join but was advised not to use super glue as too stiff. Is there a flexible alternative which is just as strong?

I use a glue gun for glueing on end eyes ,, or a Rapid Epoxy Glue

Jase, if you mean you want to attach the actual circle part back to the eye then don't bother mate.unless you are a micro welder it will never hold .
Buy a new eye - cheap and easy to replace - especially if its the tip eye .

The actual eye itself is OK. Have attempted to describe below in MS Paint.....

got ya mate......the supporting 'arms' are still attached by the whipping but its the long tube bit thats come loose ??
It should be a metal to glass fibre fix tho surely - not metal to metal in which case use super glue..flexibility makes no difference here as the eyes are rigid anyway and it wont make the tip stiff one bit
