Beads For Sea Fishing Rigs

Beads for Sea Fishing Rigs
Plastic beads are used in various ways with rigs and rig making

Fishing beads come in many different colours from yellow green and so on. They also can come as luminous beads which means they glow in low light which helps if the water you are fishing has low visibility to attract fish.

Beads also vary in size from 8mm (for attractors) down to 2mm (for rig making)

Beads as Attractors
By placing beads just above your hook will help attract the fish to your hook bait . The amount of fishing beads you use varies on the species you are targeting

Luminous beads are beads that absorb day light and then emit it during low light “ they glow in the dark “ Which makes them a very good attractor in deep water where visibility is poor

Beads and rig making

These are the beads that you use when making your rigs up . They are generally the 2 – 2.5mm beads with the favourite colour being black or dark red

They can be used as stoppers / spacers or used to protect your knot from the abrasion of the lead ect

Please if you have any questions or tips on using beads for sea fishing post below
