Samphire Hoe

Hi all

Me and baitcaster are off to samphire hoe on sat, I am thinking that with all these s/w winds that there should be some bass about! Gonna try and float fish one rod and pennel on the other. I have got a load of pebles of the beach the other day and drilled small hole through them to use as weights and was gonna use a rotten bottom so hopfully all i will loose is a load of line and hooks!

High tide about 6pm so will fish the tide down to dusk which I recon is the best time to try

Any one got any idea how i set the depth on my float? And also what bait shall I use, thinkin whole squid and makky on the pennel and bunches of rag on the float?

Any ideas would be appreciated

Cheers

Joe
