I managed to wangle a section on the shingle below the Ship & Lobster

a lot less walking than the Shorne end.

On my section there were 17 Whiting and a solitary Pout (between 8 "rods") but in total there were over 600 whiting caught , a number of Sole and the first Doggie that has been caught in the 39 years that the match has been running.

Everyone was talking about the Seahorse that came from Greenwich and was wondering what size hook you need for them

That's right Chris. When me tortoise went fishing recently, he said he'd used carrot paste! ( or was that carapace?) Kind regards to all.

Wedsnday is looking to be the best day for me , I will watch the weather on Counrtyfile tonight and make a decision then.
