| Dungeness 28/09/2011 Well I went fishinjg with my mates to Dungeness and fished from High water to high water (12 to 12). Tide was a 8mtr + and I was fishing just up from the powerstation (towards the point) What can I say, the fishing gods were harsh to me, not only had the predicted SW`ly turned into a strong easterly  but there was also a load of weed, a family of bloody seals about 30 yards of the beach & a bloody trawler stopped just out from the bhoy and dropped its bloody nets!!!!!On a fishing note, me and the 3 lads i took must have had about 20-30 whiting each, all small bar the odd half decent one. All came at dusk and over darkness. Oh yeah and one of my mates had a weever, started yelling at me because it was the first fish of the day, thank god  he did because he is not a fisherman and would have just grabbed the fooker to take him off . I very quickley explained what it was and showed him the nasty spike and he seemed to be quite happy that he didnt grab it. I have some pics somewhere in my bag but to be honest you all know what a beach and a whiting look like dont ya  I may however knock up a thread about the weever with a pic so future anglers will be warned  Anyhow tight lines all Joe  __________________ Sea 2012- 5brd rockling, whiting, LS Dogfish,Bass,Eel,Flounder F/W 2012- Catfish(16.5lb), Carp,Tench LITTER IS JUST LAZINESS!!     |
