Sounds like a productive trip!!! I am now doing a 48hr trip to Dungeness on Wed now, we figured 7.2 MTRS was a bit too much of a pain to fish the breakwater, gonna need a pound of lead to hold bottom!!. For the same price of that trip we figured we could spend it on bait and make a proper trip of it
Hoping that we may get a Bass or two, big tides and south westerlys are predicted so it is looking promising!!!!
