Last night's session at Greenhithe

I fished the late evening tide, alongside the QE2 bridge. I took the advice of forum members and used rigs with size 4 hooks and a shot just 1" above each hook. Blowing a hoolie and bucketing down. I landed three nice flounders, one small bass and an eel. This time, by using the smaller hooks I managed to convert all bites into catches! Whearas previously I missed bites time after time due to unknowingly using hooks that were too large. Once again, my success was due to me heeding the help and advice offered by forum members. Thanks to all and kind regards. Incidentally, can someone please tell me how to post my photos of last night's catches? Try as I might, I just can't do it. I'm trying to copy and paste a pic from my own collection on Photo Gallery. The 'insert image' icon don't seem to work.

[/IMG]

I've uploaded pics to photobucket, opened a pic and pasted its URL into this text. What do I do now?

Re: Last night's session at Greenhithe

The easiest way to publish photo's online is via photobucket (google it) you can open a free to use account and use it to store edit and publish all your photo's.

For those who don't know how
First sign up for PhotoBucket http://photobucket.com/

Second upload and save your photo's from your computer.

To post pictures from PhotoBucket into a thread on here all you need do is open the picture you want - you'll see this layout

To publish the picture of your choice just click on IMG code and paste the url into your post.

Re: Last night's session at Greenhithe

Well, I thank everyone most kindly for all their help getting me to post my photos. But it has really got me beat! I've set up a photobucket account, uploaded a couple of pictures to an album, opened one of the pictures, pasted its URL into my message and previewed it. The photo doesn't show, but what DOES show is the URL address. I've tried various different ways but all to no avail. My son works in computing and has just spent the past twenty minutes trying to solve the problem. He's given up, saying that such difficult procedures are probably only understandable to anglers. So, unfortunately it looks like I'll have to give up fishing altogether and go back in the corner and continue sucking my thumb. Kind regards.

Re: Last night's session at Greenhithe

Thanks for your kind words of sympathy, but you'd have thought I could have followed the advice given by Mike and others. I might have another try later this evening. Stand by for some bad language.
