| Re: Fishing in an easterly Unfortunately there aren't many marks anywhere that fish well under a high pressure (gen easterly wind) __________________ 20 years of marine biology can't be wrong but apparently it is |

| Re: Fishing in an easterly Decided, were gonna fish in the swale estuary. The wind is easterly and dropping as the week progresses so will be no colour in the water by thurs making all the s.e coast marks hopeless. Figure the swale is only 20mins away and if it`s s**t can always head home without wasting to much fuel. 3 score lug, 2 Rag ordered, now to knock together some long flowing rigs with size 2`s on. Must be some flounder and schoolies about im thinking. | Re: Fishing in an easterly Luckily fish like flounder and eels arn't affected that much by the pressure changes __________________ 20 years of marine biology can't be wrong but apparently it is |

| Re: Fishing in an easterly Hope not , I didn`t realise it was the air pressure that changes the fishes feeding habits , i just thought it was wind direction, light and temperature. | Re: Fishing in an easterly Temperature, light wind sirection do play apart in inshore fish habits I think that pressure above all else affects the fish mainly on swim bladdersyou tend to find fish with large swim bladders tend to move to deeper water just as the pressure rises but they also come back inshore just before yje pressure falls, well thats according to a mate of mine who has been running an experiment in the sea life centre in Poole, you also find that high pressure and cold weather food dtuffs like worms burrow deeper, this has also been noted in warmer weather but to a lesser extent __________________ 20 years of marine biology can't be wrong but apparently it is |

| Re: Fishing in an easterly No mate i didn`t get a chance to get down there, hoping to get over there some point soon though, was considering it for thurs but think easterlies are no good for down shorne. I`ve had some luck in easterlies in the swale so gonna give it a bash, interested?
