| Bass, mackeral! Had a short session yesterday due to being put off by local forecasts, had my stella artios head on so feeling slightly worse for wear, nipped down to local beach to see what the wind was really doing, as it didn't seem anywhere close to the given forecast. Seeing it flat as a millpond decided to crack on, caught 14 mackeral and one plaice, one Dab, this was a mile off shore and a howling sw gale! By the time i got out wind had picked up and the forecast although a little late in the day was correct, reckon if i had been out at 5am could have had a decent session. Unfortunately work for me Monday.  .Still be able to keep a day in lieu for those summer days!        |
