If you rule out any bait Ben blanks on you'll end up fishing with a bare hook!

Re: Fishing 23/12/2004

Never rule out a bait just because you have blanked once or twice using it.

I always fish with various baits every time I go, unless that is, if I know my mark extremely well at all states of tide and covering all seasons. For example, whilst reading a web article the other day from wellyfish, covering flounder fishing in one of our rivers, stated, that the best bait to use in the autumn was peeler crab, whilst in the spring this switches to rag.

So as we can see, we have a two pronged effect going on here.

Thumbs up Re: Fishing 23/12/2004

I agree with you m8 .
A good mix of baits does have its plus points but as all of us know luck is a huge part of it!
If you cast in the right spot and use good fresh bait you are just giving yourself more of a chance.(well sometimes anyway)

talk soon
Andy
