| Re: Isle of Sheppey this saturday ? hi there , u want to park in tesco car park on th entrance on the left side, walk up the path, u will see the tip of the island which is called GARRISON POINT, its about 12 mins walk with all the Gear, if u want flat fish, then just fish where the path ends, low to high tide is good there, nice sandy part, in the summer months u want to go onto the rocks itself and fish for bass, this year i have a 5lb 2 oz from there, loads of smaller bass, and loads of eels. i fished there last weekend and had 7 dogfish, 2 whiting, 1 was abt 2lbs. good luck. keep in touch, as i fished sheppey often. |

| Re: Isle of Sheppey this saturday ? Hi Rainbow-bASS . Thanks for the info. Next time I will fish where you suggested. I tried the beach east of Bartons Point. Nothing, not even crab bites. Will keep you informed as to how I do. The Island is new to me so I guess theres going to be a lot of finding out. I like to fish between Folkestone and Hythe. Plenty of whiting last weekend. Unfortuneatly I have a new partner who keeps a 'tight line' on me otherwise I would be on an all nighter. Maybe see you about. Take care |
