i find the dark nights associated with a new moon to be productive on most of my marks, noteably better than full moon

Hi Carlos i used to live in sittingbourne and i know plenty of good spots locally to fish.

Do you have a car or will you need public transport? There are some good places to fish around isle of sheppy and even some places in the river swale between the island and sittingbourne. I go fishing once a month and would be happy for you to tag along for a trip. I usually go around Dover , Folkstone and Dungeness but know some good spots closer to home as well. One place even has a pub within walking distance from the beach so if the trip isnt going to plan

Re: what is better new moon or full moon , thanks ...

pingu and geejayy are right you know. I went fishing last night at warren and the moon was out shining bright. Add that to the crystal crear water = Fk all fish for me and my three mates ( except small put )

I was sitting thee thinking back to this tread and what the boys had said and it dawned on me that i had never given this any concideration.

You learn something everyday, i always thought night = fish but now can plan fishing trips better so not waste so much money on bait!!!

Where can i find info on moon phazes lads?

Full moon has nearly always been rubbish for me. No moon , best bass from beach and loads ands loads of doggies. Say no more.
