New to Sea Fishing

HI Everyone,

I have never been sea fishing but am a keen freshwater angler both Match and Carp fishing!

I have recently moved to Rochford in Essex from London and was hoping to try some seafishing.

Anyone know any good boats to charter from Southend?

Do any of you fish from Southend at all?

I would need a boat that can provide rods etc as I have no sea fishing gear but if I enjoy it which I am sure I will I would purchase all my own gear!

Any advice or info is appreciated!

hello mate welcome to the forum,
i have fished two or three times at southend,twice on the pier and it was just the odd flounder and once on a boat,it was a very good boat,a catamaran called jo-jo ,i would recommend it but that was about 8 or 10 years ago and might not be there now

Have a look on the forum under charter boats in your region, the list is extensive and I'm sure your find a good skipper and boat.
