| Sat Night at Dungeness Went fishing at dungeness on sat night at a spot called the dustbin. Fished hour down to low water and then upto high water. I got a 2lb codling on low water and my mate had loads of rockling. As the tide turned my mates caught about 10 sizable dabs and a few doggies so not a bads night in all. Was using Black lug and squid all night. I set my mates up with flappers and size 1 hooks which the doggies destroyed and i was using a 4/0 pennel rig hence i only caught the codling but it tasted nice for my sunday lunch so was happy. Recon that will be about it for the cod fishing this year so will be changing my tactics and going to try and get me a skate or ray. Good reports of a lot of em coming up at eastchurch on the isle of sheppy. They are coming up on rag and sandeel so will be off over there in two weekends time. Will let ya all know how i got on.
