Hi Steve , welcome to the forum
As far as i'm aware there are a couple of boats operating from the Dunbar area and two or three from the Fife area but nothing more local as the majority of charters seem to be fropm the Girvan and Ayrshire area ..Look for a local sea angling club ( theres bound to be one ) and normally they have trips booked throughout the year saving on transport costs etc..

Closest i ever got to the sea when i lived in Edinburgh was Musselburgh and i didnt fancy specimen trolleys or dead bodies

Never tried for a Bass up the road
Am 1 hour from Weymouth now and fishing some of the best Bass waters in the UK both inshore and on the wrecks - like Portland Pirate ( another deported scotsman )
