Portsoy yet again

Heading over to Portsoy rocks on saturday evening to see whats about. Not expecting much but at least i am getting out. Shall report back if i actually catch something.

Tide: Low @ 06.30
Weather: Slight breeze with clear skies (above me).
Wave action: Small swell.


Fished Portsoy rocks for a couple of hours today.

Started fishing about 04:40
Was fishing with mackerel, sandeel, squid and razorfish.

Only caught two fish, a small conger and a small coalfish (much like last time).
Conger was caught on sandeel and the coalfish was caught on a razorfish/squid combo.

In between the fishing i had the most amazing view of a lightening storm off over in the distance towards Fraserburgh. I was glad it didn't come my way.

Over head i was treated to loads of metor showers. They lit up the sky really well. Sometimes the views are so much better then the fishing.

About 07.30 i got bored so decided to pack up and go on a trip to find new marks.

Found a few and shall be adding them to my site when i get time.

wow that must have been class with the meteors and lightning storms and stuff, while catching nice fish as well!
