Peterhead fishing the last day

Peterhead sea fishing - Well my last day fishing in peterhead I went for the south breakwater as the wind was very strong but managed to get right up the top and sheltered from the wind - well about five foot of shelter . Did pop down to cruden bay but the wind was full in the face and doing force 6 + was a no go

Had loads of bights an some nice flatties from 3 inches to 8 inches

Could not get any white fish but did try with whole squid or mackeral sides on a clip down fished into the centre channel

As usual the weather changed from thermals to tea-shirts all within 10mins

The locals who were great on tips were all going for mackeral to fill their freezers for the winter months but to tell you the truth sod all was coming out

As a side note I have never seen so many sea lions and every local remarked that this has been the worse year so far for them --- i,e every 5 mins a sea lion would pop up
