Talking Day Two Peterhead power station fishing

Peterhead power station fishing - well got to the beach after a bit of a treck as they have sealed of the area since I last visited . Did not make the outlet as my poor little heart would have given in

Anyhow , me and the brother inlaw started to fish with size 3 hooks and squid strip for the flatties and clip down peeler or whole squid just incase a bass was about

Four hours later not a sniff on any of the rods . Gave the dexters a bash and still the same . There were two sea loins working the bay so this must have had some effect

So about 3pm decided to hit the peterhead breakwater and picked up some more flatties of no size but still fun

At 6pm I decided to go big baits and fish the outer wall . Crabs were a problem but hay arent they everwhere now . Only had on good take on sandeel on a clip dow at distance but as usaul by the time I put my fag and cup of coffee down ( ok my beer down ) It had taken the 15lb line and cut or snapped it

Not sure what I am doing tomm

Have pics of the marks and will post when get home

Re: Day Two Peterhead power station fishing

Bit of a devil it being so slow but I'd suggest you try a little low water spinning for sea-trout at Cruden Bay on this evenings low water.
