beckfoot trip, west coast, bass

A mate invited me to go up to beckfoot for a few days fishing and camping, so we packed up and headed off the sat morning at 4am, got there for around 6.30am, straight on the beach just over the road from the campsite.
sun was just starting to warm with a bit fog on the sea, tide was right out, a good 10min walk from the dry sand to the water reasonably flat beach, we spent a hour digging and then set of.
first cast, within 2mins first little knocks started nice little twoface flatty to start us off,


bass were jumping all round us, so i baited up and back in, not much happning for a while but it was red hot so i wasnt complaining! within a hour and a half as the tide was sweeping in behind us i had 3 bass and my pal had 4 worth keeping for the bbq, loads of schoolies going straight back in, heres mine
not massive mind but....
nice pic as we went back out for abit more play,


all in all not loads of fish caught but i had a great time and would love to back, now with abit more exprience too! ha ha

was a great day to introduce me to beach fishing, couldnt of asked for much more, that last pick as been my wallpaper on my laptop since we got home i wish i had taken the dsl, i have a few more but they are taken on my blackberry so they have come out rubbish, all the ones of us holding the fish are blury !
