Re: Edinburgh fishing

Ive heard that cockenzie power station is good for bass flounders pollock and pouting. Especially if you fish the warm water side. Ive not tried it yet myself but i put some feelers out in the gorgie road tackle shop and that is what they said you can expect.
Ive also seen somebody fishing the wall at newhaven harbour but he didnt get anything.
I drive a bus round the capital 6 days a week and ive only ever seen 1 or 2 people going sea fishing. I think the snobbery of game fishing is alive and well in edinburgh so that could give you unlimited potential fishing all to yourself. You can probably tell from this forum the ammount of activity the scottish section gets. I mean i stopped checking it months ago and only stumbbled on your request today.
So good luck and let me know how you get on.
By the way Mussleburgh looks like a distance casting venue.
best wishes
