Loch Etive (tuesday night /thursday night)

Well i ll keep this short as this internet cafe is exspensive.
I fished the quary on loch etive twice this week both night sessions, this has to be one of the spookyest places to fish ,nobody around for miles and no light whatsoever just the hoots of owls to keep me company.
Any way the fishing wasnt to bad on the first night a had about 7 whiting and a large dogfish, the water here is very deep ,you can chuck it out as far as you can and your line still enters the water about 2 yrds from the shore going straight down.
The second session was a bit better i ended up with about 7 whiting again but also had 2 thorn back ray,not big but very welcome.
On the last cast of the night i had what i believe to be a butter eel,god knows how it took the hook.
The big question is do i get some bait now and go tonight or do i have a quet night in?UMM Decisions, decisions.

Re: Loch Etive (tuesday night /thursday night)

Aw m8 good one. If the interview doesn't work out theyre lookin for a night watchman at Dunoon Pier. Think of it - Start work at 9 ,do abit of fishin, grab a kip, fish some more and then finish up in time to have the day to yourself to ........ fish more. Now there is a life!
