western scotland

Hi I´m planning to visit western Scotland in late march for a fishingtrip. I´d mostly will fish from the coast but also like to go out with a Charterboat if that´s possible. If anyone has any suggestions for good places or websites/books that describes where and what to fish it would be greatly appriciated.
Regards
Kristian Hallsten Sweden

Re: western scotland

Now then,
I dont live in scotland but do a bit of work up there, usualy in Oban the best spots ive found are the one in the upper reaches of the deeper lochs were the trawlers cant get to .
I fish an a quary on the north side of loch Etive quite often,it is very deep snag free and you never know what your going to get, spurdogs, whiting, cod ive even seen hake caught.
