| Re: Inverbervie 22/11/08 For Inverbervie i'd personally use lugworm, squid and mackerel. I only ever use pully rigs there with a minimum size of 4/0 hook. Grip weights are essential in my opnion and a good shock leader too as the stones move when the sea is lumpy and therfore can cut your line Also forgot to say you need a decent strong rod __________________ Looking for sea fishing marks in Scotland? | Re: Inverbervie 22/11/08 Yes you can buy pulley rigs already made up. I personally make my own but it's because i have a load of stuff to do it with. As for the best place to stand on the beach. Well everyone has a different point of view on this but i tend to stand on the right of center as you look at it from the carpark. I find it less snaggy but to be quite truthful it can vary depending upon conditions. If there is alot of fresh water coming out of the river then i wouldn't stand too close to it __________________ Looking for sea fishing marks in Scotland? Click below 90 to choose from |

| Re: Inverbervie 22/11/08 Don't know that shop i'm afriad. I tend to buy all my kit from either evilbay or direct from manufacturer. As for which rod. Well that's purely your choice. I have four sea rods and they are a spinning rod, light beach caster and two heavy rock rods. They cost me various prices but the most expensive was £300. Now these days you can get alot of rod for alot less. You have to decide what types of fishing you are going to mostly be doing. Is it clean beach fishing or mostly rock/rough ground? I can't really recommend a rod until you decide that factor. As for conditions. I don't tend to fish Inverbervie unless there has been a good blow there. But on decent cold dark night you can get decent fish too so i've been told. Just take a chance and enjoy the time out fishing __________________ Looking for sea fishing marks in Scotland?
