Smile Mackies at stonehaven

Went to the harbour the other day to find it way too crowded and the floats from lobster pots were in all the good places (frustrating that). so went to downie point and made my way down the cliffs. After an hour and a half of nothing I was about to call it cuz the wife was expecting home. then the mackies started catching. i got 60+ in the next hour and only stoped when my arms were knackered and i was also guaging the wife's anger at being late. then I had to make my way back up the cliffs with gear and the 12 big mackies i kept, some for bait, some to eat. Was shattered and very muddy by the time i reached the car and finally home but the wife was understanding when I produced all the fish. Had a bril bbq the next day. Going again on Friday afternoon.
