 Cullen Beach 30/03/08 Weather: Sunny with occasional cloud Wind: Slight breeze Sea state: Calmish HW @ 19.07 Decided to give Cullen beach a go today. Weather looked promising and delivered as said. Was going to be fishing up the tide. Got there and went to the Portknockie end of the beach. Never fished that far across it so new area for me. Two people were already fishing there and they turned out to be Snapper and Squidward. Nice to meet you fellas Set up and was fishing by 14.00 Fishing was easy and enjoyable. Only annoying thing was the constant intrusion of dogs not being controlled by their owners. Fished until 19.00 and had a good session. Total for the session turned out to be a respectful 5 flounders, 4 dabs and a TURBOT I finally have joined the group and bagged another species Will defo have to go back to the beach later on in the year to see if some bigger specimins are about.
