Thumbs up Loch Duich Area

Weather: Sunny with occasional cloud
Wind: Slight breeze
Sea State: Calm
HW @ 13.55

Decided to give Loch Duich a go today as i really couldn't be bothered with the east coast. Was hoping to get some thornies and doggies.

Started fishing on the south side of the loch for a change. Alot shallower then the north side but if you don't try you don't catch.

First mark i tried i got 2 doggies within an hour of setting up. Both taken on herring bait. Decided to move to another mark i had spotted earlier. Glad i did as it turned into a doggie bash. 14 doggies in 4 hours. All on herring and squid baits. Nothing touched the mackerel, mussel or razorfish.

After having a cracking time at this mark i decided to spend the rest of my time just looking around for new marks and also visiting some old ones i know.

All in all a cracking day with fantastic weather. Got a slight suntan and had to wear sun glasses all day.

Defo going to head back over to these marks, maybe at night to see if i can get some thornies.

Bait was sometimes only in the water for 2 mins before it was taken. But it was a mark that i expected them to be there ;)
