Sounds good, plus how did you manage to catch so many from lossie??? Its been dead last few times i've fished it.
Hiya Phil

I could try and explain how to get to the pier or i could make it easier for you and say click this link Achiltibuie Pier . It's near the bottom of the page

As for Lossie. I was on the very end of the north breakwater and casting straight out towards Boar's Head rock. Don't let your feathers, hok-eyes or spinners sink too much as the snags will get you.

Hi there.

Lossiemouth's pretty good prob the best place to try.

Also Burghead which is 2 miles west

or go further east from lossiemouth to somewhere like Portknockie, portknockie is past Buckie, roughly a half hour drive.

There is a boat that goes from lossiemouth also, £20 per person or £25 if you want tackle hire.07775 802963 its called TopCat. I havent been on it yet but have been told its fantastic.

If you fancy freshwater fishing there is Glen of Rothes trout fishery just outside Elgin (20mins or so from lossie) Fly fishing for 5 hours catch and release only £10. or 5 hrs 2 fish limit for £15. Bait fishings available too for similar costs.

hope that helps, also check BBC weather online, select coastal option on left hands side then select tide times. Comes in handy.

Regards and good luck!

Phil

Sorry for the delay in replying. Only just seen this question.

If you stand on the north breakwater and look down towards Spey Bay/very end of east beach you will see a big lump of rock jutting out/up. That's Boar's Head Rock. Click HERE
