Bit of advice

Well after all my gear going walkies i have to replace it but as i havent needed to buy rods or reels for ages as i was happy with what i had and reels were service regular
Have had a look but cant find anywhere that sells the rods and reels i had so will have to look at others
Im looking for
Beachcasters for just beach and light rock work
And a fixed spool reels
Want some thing that can cope but not mega money

what kit did you have mate and how much you looking at spending ? plenty decent hand bargains on flea bay and usually top end second hand is a better option that mid to low range brand new !

I had dam reels and abu rods cant remember the model i had them a good few years and they lasted well
Looking about £150-£200
Aint got much more spare at min and got to get tripod and rig bits etc aswell

should be plenty .. look for Daiwa rods and reels- you wont go far wrong !

most shore reels these days have coned spools and umpteen bearings to aid casting and the rods are much lighter and slimmer than ever ..
try places like Glasgow angling centre for combo deals or browse online

yep, i lived in Germany quite a few years and all the D.A.M kit was great !
The old silstar uptider i had cost me 30 squid brand new but its done me proud for years - top money doesnt always mean top results .. sometimes you just get a feel for a bit of kit

Looney Jock is right you don't need to pay big name prices to get top quality.
I have a pair of RonThompson 15foot beachcasters that are as good as K2's but at a fraction of the cost.

cheers lads yeah i understand about paying top whack for the stuff

that why i thought better ask as perfer to here the views of people useing the rods reels etc rather than just read the write up

but yeah you do get a feel for the kit and you can trust it will be weird with new gear but shouldnt take to long to get used to it

if you can get this outfit for less than 150 it would be a massive bargain mate - the rods are ace !
